PRINTING CAPABILITIES

Printing Technology

We use FDM (fused deposition modeling) 3D printers. FDM technology is well-suited for producing high-strength parts, as well as rapid production of very large models at an economical cost. This makes it an ideal printing technology for prototyping and high-volume production.

If you aren’t sure how these capabilities will apply to your project, don’t worry! We’ll work with you during the order process to understand your needs and help you decide what settings we should use for your prints.

Model size

Up to 20” x 20” x 20” (500mm) for a single part (we can split larger designs into multiple prints to produce larger models when needed).

materials

PLA, ABS, PETG. We can print with more specialized plastics if the project requires it.

Resolution

Layer height as low as 100 micron (0.1 mm) and as high as 300 micron (.3 mm)

colors

We offer all standard colors as well as specialty colors such as woodfill, metallic colors, and translucent clear plastic.
